Anxiety doesn't wait — neither should relief

Nobody ever
handed me a tool
for the moment
panic actually hits.

So I built one. The Emergency Toolkit is what I wish someone had given me that day. I don't want you to suffer as long as I did — so I'm giving it to you, free.

Science-backed techniques
Use it the moment panic hits
Built from lived experience
Carry it on your phone

Give it a try.
A unique technique for immediate relief.

This is the Physiological Sigh — the fastest technique in the toolkit. Press start breathing and follow the circle.

1. Deep inhale through nose (4 sec)
2. Short sip at the top (1 sec)
3. Long exhale through mouth (8 sec)
Ready? Press start breathing

Three cycles · About 40 seconds · Works best with eyes closed once you know the pattern.

A note from Kai
It took me years of suffering to build these tools myself. You can't do the deeper work until you can get calm — so this is the part that has to come first. That's why I'm giving it to you free.

Even if I never see you again here, it matters to me that you have this — because it's exactly what I wish someone had given me in my darkest days.

If you're here, you've probably already tried a lot

The breathing apps. The meditation. The advice from people who've never been there.

Some of it helped a little. Most of it was too slow, too vague, or written by someone who's never had their chest lock up at 3 AM.

Anxiety doesn't show up in a quiet meditation studio. It shows up on the train, in a meeting, in the supermarket, in bed at 4 AM with your heart hammering and a voice saying something is very wrong.

What you need in that moment is not a framework. It's a tool that fits in your hand and works in 60 seconds.

That's what this is.

The Emergency Toolkit

Three pillars. 23 techniques. Free.

42 pages. Every technique named, explained, timed, and rated for difficulty, with a drill you do on the spot. You test them. You choose yours. You carry them.

The Emergency Toolkit — free Level I workbook, cover showing the three parts: Breath, Mind, Body
First line of defence

Breath

Your breath is the only part of your autonomic nervous system you can consciously control. Change how you breathe, and everything else follows — heart rate, blood pressure, your entire stress response.

  • The Physiological Sigh
  • 4-7-8 Breathing
  • Box Breathing
  • Extended Exhale + 2 more
Breaking the loop

Mind

During panic, your rational brain is offline. Logic doesn't help. What does: pattern interruption — techniques that force your mind somewhere else entirely, starving the panic loop of the fuel it needs.

  • 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding
  • The Alphabet Game
  • Countdown by 7s
  • Reality-Check Questions + 4 more
Physical release

Body

Panic mobilises your entire body for fight or flight. That energy has nowhere to go — so it stays trapped. Physical techniques discharge what breathing and mind games can't: raw tension locked in your muscles.

  • The Shake-Out
  • Progressive Muscle Relaxation
  • Cold-Water Face Dip
  • Butterfly Hug + 5 more
The output

By the end, you'll have this.

Three lines. Your go-to breath. Your go-to mind technique. Your go-to physical release. A card in your wallet or saved as your phone lock screen.

  • Built around techniques you've personally tested
  • Tailored to your body — not someone else's
  • Ready before you need it, not improvised during
  • Something concrete to reach for when everything feels out of control
My Emergency Toolkit Level I · Survive
Physiological Sigh
Double inhale + long exhale · about 15 seconds
5-4-3-2-1 Grounding
See · Touch · Hear · Smell · Taste
The Shake-Out
Full body shake · 60–90 seconds

"I have survived every panic attack before this one. This will pass. I have tools."

Sample only. You'll build your own version inside the toolkit.

Why I built this

I built this because nobody handed it to me.

I had the life on paper. Companies built and sold, four continents, all the boxes ticked. Then it broke. Not gently. I came home naked, bankrupt, and panicking — to an environment I'd spent fifteen years trying to outrun.

For three years it got worse. By the time I ended up in a hospital bed at 35 convinced I was dying, I'd been falling for a long time.

Over the next six years I tried everything. A clinic. Shamanic training in Chile. Four fasting retreats. Breath coach certification. Doctors, psychologists, over a hundred books. Every teacher was extraordinary — but none of their systems was designed as a step-by-step protocol for panic. That wasn't their job.

I don't want you to spend six years figuring this out alone. There's a way back. I walked it. What's waiting on the other side may be better than what you lost.

So I built it.

And now I hand it to you.

– Kai

The path

Where you are now — and where you're going.

The order is sacred. Stabilise the body first. Then the mind does its work. Then transformation becomes possible.

Survive

Stop the attack. Get the floor back under your feet. Body-based tools that work in the next 60 seconds. This is where the toolkit starts.

Start here — the toolkit

Understand

When you're stable, look at why this happened — the patterns, the roots, what your body was trying to say.

Next

Transcend

Rebuild a life with more meaning, more purpose, and more honesty than the one anxiety interrupted.

Later
Is this right for you?

This toolkit is for you if…

  • You want something concrete ready for the next hard moment — not a framework to study
  • You're tired of being told to "just breathe" and want tools that work physiologically, even when logic isn't reaching you
  • You want to understand what's happening in the body, not just manage it in the moment
  • Other resources felt too clinical, too complicated, or didn't fit an actual life
  • You'd rather walk into a hard day with a plan than without one

After a week of practice, you'll have this built for your body.

1
Proven emergency breathing technique — chosen and practiced by you
1
Mind technique that interrupts your specific panic thought loop
1
Physical exercise for discharging trapped nervous energy
+
A card in your pocket. A plan. The knowledge that you're not defenceless.

This is not for you if:

You're looking for a replacement for professional therapy or medication. This toolkit is designed to work alongside both — not instead of either.

Is this therapy?

No. The toolkit is what works in the moment. Therapy is what works over years. You need both. This is the piece that's missing from most people's toolkit.

What happens after I sign up?

The toolkit arrives in your inbox in under five minutes. Then one email a day for seven days — Kai's story, the science behind the techniques, and what to do when the toolkit isn't enough on its own.

Why is it free?

Because someone in panic doesn't have time to take out a credit card. If the toolkit helps, you'll know where to find us when you're ready for the next step.
