Map & Reclaim

You can get through the panic now. These two weeks are about taking back what it cost you.

The Reset teaches you to stop the alarm. This course teaches you to stop setting it off. Somewhere along the way your life rearranged itself around the managing: the trips you stopped taking, the invitations you stopped saying yes to, the places you quietly stopped going.

In Week 1 you map exactly how your pattern works: the chain it runs on, the first signal, the story, the feelings underneath and the job it has been doing for you. In Week 2 you take back one real piece of ground, one small step at a time, and you keep the evidence in your own handwriting.

— Kai

The quieter problem

It isn’t what you’re afraid of. It’s what you’ve stopped doing.

Panic is loud. What it takes from you is quiet. It rarely happens in one dramatic moment. It happens one small “not this time” at a time, until a smaller life feels normal.

The drive you only take if someone else is in the car.
The seat you always pick near the door.
The invitation you turn down before you’ve checked the date.
The meeting you prepare for twice as long, just in case.
The trip you keep moving to “next year”.
The square you walk around instead of across.

Each of those decisions made sense at the time. Each one brought relief. And each one taught your brain the same lesson: that was dangerous, and you only got through it because you stayed away.

That’s why the tools from Level I, useful as they are, don’t give this ground back on their own. Calming down in the moment is one skill. Understanding the pattern that keeps bringing the moment back, and walking back into the places it took, is another.

Kai’s first panic attack came while he was walking across the marketplace in his home town. After that, his body decided open squares were dangerous.

That second skill is what Level II teaches. Week 1 is the map. Week 2 is where you reclaim.

Where it sits

Survive. Understand. Transcend.

Everything at Anxiety Support Hub follows three levels, in this order. Each one rests on the one before it.

Level I · Survive

Get through the moment

Body-first tools for when anxiety rises: breath, tapping, grounding and a personal emergency protocol. That’s the 7-Day Anxiety Reset.

This course
Level II · Understand

Map it. Reclaim it.

Why your pattern keeps coming back, what it does for you, and how to take back the ground it took, one rung at a time.

Level III · Transcend

A life the alarm doesn’t run

Identity and purpose work, for when anxiety no longer sets the agenda. Later, and only once Levels I and II are in place.

How it works

One day at a time. Something real at the end of each.

Each day is a short guided unit you can do in one sitting. No day ends with “now think about that”. Every day ends with something written, decided or done.

  1. Short videos

Kai explains one idea at a time, mostly in one to three minutes, often with an example from his own life.

  2. Guided audio

Thirteen practices in Kai’s voice: reading your body, noticing your thoughts, rehearsing a step, recovering from a hard one.

  3. Worksheets that save

Interactive worksheets keep your answers, build on each other across the two weeks, and print as one clean page.

  4. Quick checks

A few questions after each part, so the ideas stick and you know you’ve got them before moving on.

Inside the course

Every day, and what you leave with.

Five days of mapping and a weekend to put it on one page. Then five days of taking ground back and a weekend to look at what you’ve proven.

Week 1 · Map

Understand exactly how your pattern works.
Day 1

Your Pattern

What managing anxiety has cost you

Not what you’re afraid of, but what you’ve quietly stopped doing. You map the price of managing across five areas of your life, take a dated snapshot of where you are today, and break one real moment into the six-link chain every episode runs on.

You leave with

  • Your Cost Audit
  • Your Baseline Snapshot, six numbers, dated
  • Your first Chain Log
Day 2

The Early Signal

Noticing at a three, not a seven

At a three you still have choices. At a seven you mostly have two: push through or leave. A guided body reading, your signals sorted into three bands, and the earliest tell you can actually catch in daily life.

You leave with

  • Your Signal Ladder in three bands
  • Your earliest tell, in two or three words
  • Your Tell Log
Day 3

You Are Not Your Thoughts

Hearing the story without obeying it

Right after the tell, your mind starts a story told with total conviction. Why a brain built to predict danger does that, how to have a thought without believing it, and one of your own worries split into fact and prediction.

You leave with

  • Your Story Split
  • One sentence for the moment
  • Four ways to practise stepping back
Day 4

The Two Children

One you love, one you push away

The deepest day. Underneath the thoughts, to the role you learned to play and the feelings you learned to hide, and a different way of treating yourself while panic is happening. Many people find this the bigger lever.

You leave with

  • Your Two Children Map
  • A written dialogue with the part that has been shouting
  • Four sentences for hard moments
Day 5

What Your Anxiety Does for You

Keep the value, change the cost

Anything that keeps coming back for years is usually doing a job. You find out what yours does, without pretending the pain was a gift, and decide what to keep and what to change.

You leave with

  • Your four answers
  • Your Keep-Change Agreement
  • Your Trade Statement
Weekend 1

Build Your Map

Your whole week on one page

No new teaching. The week goes on one page, your patterns get ranked by what they cost you rather than how frightening they are, and you choose the piece of ground you’ll take back next week.

You leave with

  • Your Pattern Map
  • Your ranking: cost, not fear
  • Your Ground Statement

Week 2 · Reclaim

Take back one real piece of ground, step by step.
Day 6

The Avoidance Trap

Why lost ground stays lost

Avoidance makes its own evidence: every time you stay away, the thing looks more dangerous. Once you see how, you list what anxiety has made smaller, choose where to start, and build your first ladder.

You leave with

  • Your Avoidance Ledger
  • Your first territory
  • Your first ladder, five to seven rungs
Day 7

Staying With the Wave

The day of the first step

What actually happens when you stay instead of leaving, and what success really means. Then a guided rehearsal of your first rung, and then the real thing.

You leave with

  • Your Stay Plan
  • A guided rehearsal in Kai’s voice
  • Your first Reality Record
Day 8

Evidence

The gap that changes beliefs

Yesterday’s prediction next to what actually happened. Why your own evidence changes beliefs in a way reassurance never does, and a three-minute debrief you’ll use after every attempt.

You leave with

  • Your first evidence
  • Your Evidence Log
  • Your next attempt, chosen with a clear rule
Day 9

When It Goes Badly

Drop a rung, not out

Most people don’t quit after a hard attempt. They quit because of what they tell themselves in the hour afterwards. You prepare for that hour before it comes.

You leave with

  • Your Inner Support Script
  • Your Restart Plan
  • A guided audio for right after a hard attempt
Day 10

Make It Last

Handing over the keys

The last teaching day. How progress on one ladder spreads to others, a four-option rule for every next step, your second ladder, and a daily rhythm small enough to survive a bad day.

You leave with

  • Your next-step rule
  • Your second ladder
  • Your Daily Rhythm Card
Weekend 2

What You Have Proven

Looking back, and the road ahead

You answer the six questions from Day 1 again and put both sets of numbers side by side. Kai tells more of his own story, and you build your plan for the next thirty days.

You leave with

  • Your Before and After
  • Your 30-Day Plan
  • One thing you know now
What you’ll have at the end

Your own map, and evidence in your own handwriting.

Everything you build stays with you. By Weekend 2 you hold two things most people never get from reading about anxiety.

Your map

How your pattern actually works, on one page.

  1. The chain every episode runs on, from trigger to the moment it could have gone differently.
  2. Your earliest tell, the signal you can catch at a three instead of a seven.
  3. The story your mind tells, split into fact and prediction.
  4. The roles and feelings underneath it, and what each part of you needs.
  5. The job your anxiety has been doing, and the price you’ve paid for it.

Your ground

What you’ve taken back, and how you keep going.

  1. A ladder of small, concrete steps toward something anxiety took from you.
  2. Real steps taken, each with a prediction and what actually happened.
  3. A plan for bad days: what you say to yourself, and how you restart.
  4. A daily rhythm small enough to survive your worst day.
  5. Your Before and After, and a 30-day plan with review dates.
Is this for you?

A good fit, and not yet.

It’s for you if

  • You can usually steady yourself when anxiety rises, but your life has become smaller around it
  • Panic or anxiety keeps coming back, and you want to understand why, not just survive it again
  • You’re ready to take small, real steps toward things you’ve been avoiding
  • You can set aside about 40 minutes a day for two weeks

Probably not the right step if

  • You’re in crisis right now or thinking about harming yourself. Please contact a crisis line or emergency services first
  • You have new or unexplained physical symptoms that haven’t been checked by a doctor
  • You’re looking for treatment for a diagnosed condition such as OCD, PTSD or an eating disorder. A qualified professional is the right first step
  • You don’t yet have any reliable way to calm down when anxiety rises. Start with Level I

About Level I. Map & Reclaim builds on the tools from the 7-Day Anxiety Reset (breath, tapping, grounding) and doesn’t teach them again. If you haven’t done the Reset and don’t have reliable tools of your own, start with Level I, then come back.

BringAbout 40 minutes a day, somewhere quiet, and headphones for the audios.
HelpfulA notebook, or the printed worksheets, for the moments you’d rather write by hand.
ExpectIn Week 2 you take real steps in your own life. You choose them, and the first one is small.

Who’s teaching

Built by someone who walked it.

At 35 I was in a hospital bed in the small German town I’d left at 18, convinced I was about to die. A few hours earlier my heart had started slamming against my ribs while I walked across the marketplace. After that day, my body decided open squares were dangerous, and it took a long time to convince it otherwise.

The breathing and the body tools came first. They were what I needed when my hands were shaking. What gave me my life back was something else: understanding my own pattern, and then walking, one small step at a time, back into the places I’d given up.

“You’ll hear my own chains, my own ladder and my own bad days in this course. It’s easier to try something when you’ve watched someone else do it first.”

Questions

Before you start.

Do I need to have done the 7-Day Anxiety Reset first?

It’s strongly recommended. Level II assumes you can already steady yourself when anxiety rises, using breathing and grounding tools, and it doesn’t teach those again. If you’ve done the Reset, or you already have reliable tools of your own, you’re ready. If not, start with the Reset and come back.

How much time does it take each day?

Most days take 35 to 45 minutes. Day 4 is the longest, at about an hour, and you can split it over a morning and an evening. On the Week 2 days you also take a real step in your life, which takes as long as the step takes.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing is lost. Everything stays available, and your worksheets keep what you’ve written. Pick up where you stopped. The days build on each other, so do them in order rather than skipping ahead.

Is this therapy?

No. Map & Reclaim is a structured self-help course built from Kai’s own lived experience. It doesn’t diagnose or treat any condition, and it isn’t a replacement for therapy, medication or medical care. Many people use it alongside professional support.

Week 2 asks me to do things I’ve been avoiding. What if that’s too much?

You choose the ground, and you choose the steps. The first rung of your ladder should feel like about a three out of ten. If a step feels bigger than that, you make it smaller. Day 9 is entirely about what to do when a step goes badly, because at some point one will.

What format is it, and where do I take it?

Short videos with Kai, guided audio practices, interactive worksheets that save your answers and print cleanly, and short knowledge checks. You take it in your browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Your login link arrives by email right after you pay.

How long do I have access?

For as long as the course exists. Your access doesn’t expire, and you can come back to any day, audio or worksheet whenever you need it.

Do I get personal sessions with Kai?

No. Map & Reclaim is self-guided. At the end you’re invited to write to Kai about what changed, and he reads every message. If you’d like to work with him live, that’s what the 1:1 sessions are for.

How does the payment plan work?

You can pay $489 once, or three monthly payments of $175 ($525 in total). On the plan you get full access straight away; the next two payments are taken automatically, one month apart.

What if it isn’t right for me?

Do Week 1 (Days 1 to 5 and the Weekend, worksheets included). If it hasn’t helped you understand your pattern better, email us within 21 days of your purchase and we refund you in full. On the payment plan we refund what you’ve paid and cancel the remaining payments.
